Don't Go Away

Thanksgiving 2015 was a tough one. My Mom was in North Carolina, in the hospital surrounded by her children. We were praying and hoping she pull through. It was really difficult to see my Mom, such an incredibly strong woman, laying there with tubes. She didn't make it through the night. As we consoled each other and reminisced on memories of joyful days. I couldn't help but say "Don't Go!"

Sorry is a conversation with myself, reflecting and saying my good byes to the block.

From remembering the feeling of the summer breeze, to the sounds of the ice cream truck, to late night sessions in the basement planning our next move. I'm grateful for the experiences and memories. However, it's time to move forward.
